Try your local library. I live in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and I may be just about the only person in the county with ties to Breathitt but I discovered that our local library's genealogy department has this book and another one by Frances Terry Ingmire published in 1983 that also has Breathitt marriage records. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim" <jcox@mis.net> To: <KYBREATH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 14, 2003 7:26 AM Subject: Re: re [kybreath-l] leander palmer married margaret ledford in breathitt, 1862 > I don't know if this is the same book, or one of a series, but it is what I've used: Reconstructed Marriages of Breathitt County, 1839-1873 Breathitt. I don't know if this is the same book, or one of a series, but it is what I've used: Reconstructed Marriages of Breathitt County, 1839-1873 Breathitt. Margaret Miller Hayes, Heritage Books, Inc., 1991., 194 pages. The marriages are reconstructed from records from surrounding counties.
