Hi, everyone. Just wanted to let you know a couple of things about the Boyle County website and message boards. The location of the message boards has changed. The new (at least for now) URL is <http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=localities.northam.usa.s tates.kentucky.counties.boyle> (remove the "<"s before you copy and paste). You do not need to have a user ID and/or login if you are only reading the messages. You will, however, need one to post a new message or to reply to one of the posted messages. Some additional information can be found by clicking on the "Links and Announcements" link. All of the message boards are combined into one now, much different that what we have all been used to. You can select the different classifications using the drop-down menu. The default class is query. (Query is not in the drop down list, to further confuse us all.) Please use the different classifications, as you can actually search by classification. When you are posting a new message, or responding to a previous message, Please enter only surnames which are tied to the specific message, not every surname that you are researching. Now, when entering surnames, you will separate them with a comma and space. Do NOT hit enter before listing all of the surnames, as the message will be posted as soon as you hit "ENTER", whether you are done or not. At this point, the message boards are not gatewayed to the mail list. As I get notification that new messages are posted, I will send a note to the list. As for the website, cemetery listings have been moved off of the main page, onto a page of their own. The cemeteries that are in black are ones that I have found referenced in one of several places, but I do not have any additional information on them. (Does anyone want to help by contributing burial information on any of them?) The linked cemeteries have burial information accessible through the links. If you know of additional cemeteries that I do not have listed, or if you find errors, please feel free to let me know. This is a cooperative effort to expand the information available to Boyle County researchers. Anyone that has photos, family histories, or other data they would like to share, please let me know. Do you have any Boyle County resource books or CDs that you can do lookups from? We are always looking for help. Have a great week, everyone. Sherri Hall
