I was just wandering it one of them could have been close to perryville a lot of my Russell ancestors are buried in Carpenter's near the battle field Thanks Bill Russell
Both cemeteries are in the Western part of Boyle County. Russell Cemetery #1 is on KY 37, near KY 1108 on a farm. Buried there are Caldwell, Hafley, Johnson, Royalty, Russell, Taylor, Webster, Mattingly, Shepperson family members. Russell Cemetery #2 is on Cocanougher Lane (off of US 150, west of Perryville). Buried are Russell, Reynolds, Key, Coyle family members. I own a copy of a book "Boyle County, Kentucky Cemetery Records, 1792-1992" compiled by the Boyle County Genealogical Association. This publication is the result of a lot of hard work on the part of some very dedicated people to preserve Boyle County heritage. I can only imagine some of the conditions and hazards they encountered in this quest! I can not furnish copies, but I will look up specific individuals if full names are known.
