Just a note to let you know that I have finished adding the Boyle County births reported for the year 1912. Most of the information that I have added is from the Vital Records index, spellings, dates, etc. is exactly as listed (to the best of my typing ability), so that if you want to order a copy of the birth certificate, hopefully they'll be able to find the record for you. I have the entire index, so if you need the certificate number, just let me know. Besides the index, I have no further information on any of the individuals. (If you find someone you connect to, feel free to send along information on them to add to the website to share with other researchers.) The records are listed by the child's name, but the practice was to use the father's name with "#1" after it if the child had not been named when the birth certificate was filed. There are several cases of two entries that are obviously the same child (similar or identical birthdate, same mother), but I listed both because they had different certificate numbers. (I think some were just because they couldn't remember filing or couldn't find the original record). The mother's maiden name is also listed with the child's information, hopefully this will help to sort them. To search by mother's name, you'll have to use the site search engine. The site has been "re-spidered", so all of the records should be found when using it (I hope).
