Hi List: About a year ago, I attempted to share family data with others interested in the Overstreet surname, by printing and distributing "Overstreets in Virginia - 300 Years of Bedford County". The response was more active than anticipated. About six thousand family members in the data base then has grown - - grown now to over ten thousand. And many of the genealogical facts have been expanded and/or corrected, I prefer to call it enriched. This has only occurred because so many of you have shared with me your efforts and knowledge. Now I am willing to share with interested folks a sequel. One of the Bedford family lines has increased the reported names over three fold, along with significantly enriching detail. This family, the descendants of Thomas 'the hatter' Overstreet & Judith Walker is the subject of the current new offering. This is an expansion to a portion of the Bedford workbook and I am delighted to share it before the end of this year. This workbook of over one hundred pages presents the family in the Register format and the Outline format. The plastic comb binding and every name index will be features you will find helpful for many years. Please be forewarned! This data base is only able to grow and help others in response to the information that everyone shares.
