I joined the Ky. Genealogical Society a couple years ago never received all of my quarterly Kentucky Roots magazines and the ones which I did receive, two on time one about a year late and the 4th never received , even though Brian Harvey promised to send it. Has anyone else had trouble with Mr Harvey responding or following through? I paid my $19.00 annual fee and feel like I got took for a ride. An award may be made for each of the three regions of Kentucky, which are Western (West of I-65), Central (East of I-65 and West of I-75) and Eastern (east of I-75). Judging criteria are: 1-Project, program or service must have occurred in the last 24 months and be Kentucky related. 2-A letter of no more than two typewritten pages, must be submitted describing the nature of the work and value to genealogical research. 3-Documentation such as newspaper articles, copies of minutes, publications, or letter of support may be submitted. The Award will be a "Pathway Through History" Brick to be placed in the new Kentucky History Center. Hi my name is Terri. I'm looking for my grandparents who were married on June 21 1866 in Lincoln county Ky. There names are G. A. Daugherty and Virginia Oldham. They had 3 children that we know of. James Hugh Daugherty b.9-9-1867 Mary Daugherty who later married a John Russell and Jesse Daugherty who married Minne around 1900. I have found Boyle county was made up of Lincoln and Mercer counties. Does anyone know where I may find a birth record or a census for the 1870s. I've been on the wrong list. Thanks Terri
