Olive was born on March 17, 1915, in Ashland (Boyd County), Ky., the daughter of Ethel and Benjamin White. She worked at Aeronca during World War II and attended Marinello School of Beauty in Cincinnati to become owner and operator of her own shop, The Arlington, on Central Avenue for 30 years. Mrs. Cole was a charter member of ABWA (Middletown Charter Chapter) and the first person to receive 30-year perfect attendance award. She was also a member of Eastern Star. Prior to her illness, she attended Towne Boulevard Church of God. She is survived by her daughter Joyce Robinson of Cross, S.C.; five grandchildren, Tim, Dan, and Cathy Robinson of South Carolina, and Beth Ward and Kelly Brown of Middletown; nine great-grandchildren, Shana, Lauren, Danielle, Deanna, Devin, and Danny of South Carolina, and Meagan, Jordan, and Taylor of Middletown; and four great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Winnie Williams Haber of West Chester; a niece, Edith Carol Weaver of Cross, S.C.; and a nephew, David White of Cross, S.C. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Boyd Cole; a son, Darrell E. Williams; and two brothers, Chester, Manford and Larry White. ARRANGEMENTS: Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family, officiated by the Rev. Claude Robold. Burial will be at the Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin St., Middletown, phone (513) 423-9443.
