Concerning America Holbrook, Linda Ashley posted: She never had any children, but had two nieces with children then. The husband of one of them ran Sheraton Hotels in different places. Her last name started with an "F" I think, but I can't remember it at the moment. When I knew America Holbrook, she lived in Ashland on Newman Street. Her niece's married name was Fearing, but I don't remember her first name. Her husband's name was Tom (Thomas?), but I'm not sure if that was his first or middle name. He was the manager of the Henry Clay Hotel for a while in the 1960's. He became the first manager of the South Point Ohio Holiday Inn. He and his family moved around as he worked for a number of hotel chains including Hilton and Sheraton.
