    3. I have Isham Brown as born Jan 19, 1827 in VA (probably Cabell County). He died April 16, 1912 in Boyd County, KY. I show his wives as: (1) Mary Elizabeth Alley--- I show her as the mother of these children: 1. Nancy Ann born 1856 2. Mary J born in 1859 3. Laban T. in 1860 4. Floyd H. in 1862 5. James in 1864 6. Sarah E. in 1866 7. Charles W. in 1867 8. Carroll in 1868 9. Benjamin Franklin in 1869 (my direct ancestor) Mary Elizabeth was born Oct 16, 1842 (? on birth location) and died July 29, 1909 in Boyd County, KY. (2) Louisa A. Riggs (don't know when they were married or if they had any children) Don't know Isham's parents but his sister was Levista Brown (born Oct 18, 1832 and died Dec 1910 in Boyd County). She was married to John Liburn Wilcox and their family home was in Catlettsburg. 2 known children were: Sarah & Gavit Wilcox. Census records from Boyd County 1870 & 1880 for the above family.
