She was divorced from first husband Alexander Baldwin in 1873. She moved to Ashland after the divorce. She was sued by Alex for adultery, and he was awarded the children. It is known that she lived with a man named James Rayburn in Ashland, but I have not been able to find a marriage certificate for them, in either Boyd Co or Lawrence Co or surrounding areas. For a while, she was rooming with her daughter Amanda Baldwin, who herself was divorced from Thomas Campbell. Amanda married again-to Charles Kopp Jan 1, 1900. Christina remarried in 1903, and disappeared. it is possible that she may have returned to NC with her husband, as that is where he was from, but inquiries have not turned up anything. If you can help me solve the disappearance of Christina, please help!
