I do not live in the Boyd County area so would like to ask a favor of someone who might be going to the library in the near future if they would look for an obit for me. I am looking for an obit for Isham Brown (born Jan. 19, 1827 in Va) who died April 16, 1912 in Boyd County--lived in Catlettsburg at the time of his passing. His sister, Levisa Brown Wilcox died in Dec. 1910 also in Catlettsburg. Am trying to locate information on who their parents, siblings were. Have no idea what newspapers might have been in existence at that time or even if obits exist for these 2.
