Does anyone know if there is "HARDESTY BOOK" for Boyd County? If so could someone do a look up for me and see if there is any mention of any Browns? I know that Isham Brown born in abt 1827 and Levista Brown (married John L. Wilcox) born abt 1832 were siblings but am trying to connect them with the following: Henry Brown born about 1823 Peter Brown born about 1829 Wesley Brown born about 1825 George Brown born about 1822 All of the above are listed in the 1870 Boyd County Census as having been born in VA. There is also a William R. Brown born in abt. 1792--could he be the father or uncle of the above named? Don't live in Boyd County area so any assistance with my research would be greatly appreciated.
