She is in this family in the 1910 census, was 2 or 3 when William married Laura Johnson. In 1933 her daughter Maxine who was 10 and living with the Bryants, was told that she died of TB at a near by sanaterium. Maxine has always wondered if that was realy true. The last record I have of Bessie Vance, is the 1930 Census, where she is listed as 27 and single. Maxine thinks that perhaps she went to live near one of her siblings; Amelia or Dennie. Does anyone know what realy happened to Bessie?
