yes, thet were two separate school. don't know the dates. i graduated from Ashland Senior High School in 1953. V.
Found in the History of Ashland that Armco went through an expansion from 1949-1953. I assume the pictures I have are of this expansion. I don't know if they were taken around the same day/month/year or not. Again one picture had August 4, 1952, I believe. If you can add anything, please do. I have uploaded 6 new pictures of Ashland in the Photograph-Street Section. I would like to know the name of these buildings, corner-street, area, etc. I will be uploading a lot more in the next week or two so if you can help, please email me. http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyboyd/Photographs/Streets/streets.htm Again thanks for any help! ===== Hope you find what you are looking for :) ^ ^ . . Boyd Researchers, Thanks for the feedback on the High Schools, learned I have two different type of yearbooks, instead of one. I have uploaded 17 New Armco Factory Pictures at the below URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyboyd/Photographs/Factories/Armco/armco.htm I gave Armco it's own folder now since there are 23 Photos related to the factory. I don't know the history of Armco and this is where I need your help again. I found 1 date on one photo I have uploaded and it was 1952. If you look at the photos it looks like Armco is being built and/or expanded in most of the pictures I uploaded. Can anyone tell me by looking at the photos the area that is in the picture and/or the name of the building being shown. Know any of the people in the picture? Any help on these photos would be great. Thanks for the help :) ===== Hope you find what you are looking for :) ^ ^ . . Boyd Researcher's, Okay here is a question I would like to resolve. Since 1920 or approximately what PUBLIC High Schools have existed in Boyd County and what were their Names, Locations and Dates of Existence, please. I have been discussing this with Judy and I am confused on yearbooks. I thought there was only 1 Public High School at a time, with different names through the decades. She informed me there were 2. Specifically Ashland H.S. and Boyd County H.S. were two different schools at the same time. Thanks for any insight, Mark __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I was given a link last week, one I was not aware of. If you go to: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/KYBIOGRAPHIES/ They have Biographies submitted by researchers for the last 8 years or so. You can search these Biographies at the below URL: http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl?list=KYBIOGRAPHIES You can search each individual year by using SURNAMES, COUNTY NAME, ETC. I will probably throw a link to these in the near future. ===== Hope you find what you are looking for :) ^ ^ . .
