    3. Boyd Researchers, Sorry for neglecting the Email Listserve but I've been too involved with the Webpage. With Teri and Judy going crazy doing cemteries and census, we have quite a few new cemeteries listed and indexed, so check them out. I'm still uploading pictures as quick as I can. I love pictures and would love any older ones you may want to share, so please contact me and I will make arrangements on how to so. Again check out the webpage for the latest in updates. http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyboyd/ Have a great weekend, Mark __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XAB.2ACI/2365 Message Board Post: 1860 census Winchester, Frederick co VA lists John Criner age 45 and wife Dorcus age 45. They may be the parents of an Elizabeth b 1834/35 who married John Cooley, 2 sons, move to Boyd co KY, after war married Peter Cooley, 2 more sons. Elizabeth Cooley is listed in 1860 and 1870 census as Elizabeth Steele Cooley but a letter dtd 1857 Winchester Va from Dorcus to "dear daughter" mentions Lizy, little son, and Peter, raising the possibility that Steele is Elizabeth's middle name not her surname as previously supposed. There is no other reason for this letter to have been saved in my family. Does anybody know anything about any of these people?

    3. Good Morning Mary, Mary thank you for the information on the TB Hospital in Ashland. And thanks to all who have replied to me off list regarding the old hospital. Warm Regards, Ramona ~~~Original Message~~~ From: [email protected] Date: 2004/04/23 Fri PM 11:43:03 EDT To: [email protected] Subject: [KYBOYD] Ashland TB Sanitorium There were several of these hospitals across the state. One in Bourbon Co. Kentucky also. In the '60s I used to visit my friend at a house on 13th street on a hill. Her father was a physician at that hospital. The hospital was near the house. I think the cabinet for human resources is up there now. There is a sign at the bottom of the hill. Mary Harbour [email protected] 800 469-0242 vm 4264 phone/fax 502 868-9023

Have you checked the Boyd Co. Site on US Genweb: http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyboyd/ for information on hospitals? Mark and Teresa do an excellent job of sharing data on the site. Best, Ramona
