Good morning listers! I thought I would take a one-day break from posting bios to mention something to you. I've been posting biographies from many books for so many years that I can't remember. It started as a project by the late Jeff Murphy who wanted to get every KY biography he could find posted on line. He gathered a team of volunteers who had access to various biographical books of KY and I was the first one who worked with him. After his premature passing, I determined to continue his work and now, many years later, am still working on the project. At the website below is the URL where I post all the biographies that I've posted to the list over the years. They are also archived as shown in my signature signature line, but that site forces one to go through month by month to find the bio you are seeking. The URL below is my master list and is searchable through all of them. When the page loads, type in the name you are seeking and be sure to click on the box that says "Sandi Gorin's Kentucky Biographies..." right under the blue search box. There are 10,818 biographies posted there for your reading pleasure. The count I put on the bios each day is accurate (11,506), but during a big switch-over several years back with Rootsweb, some were lost - I have no idea of which ones! I thank all of you who are on this list - some from day #1 back in the 1990s! I have finished many of the primary biographical books but am still working on 6 books and of course, always looking for others.
