Clara McDaries, 84, died at 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 9, 2002, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Allen County, Ohio. She was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Ingram, Ky., to William and Arizona Miracle Golden, who preceded her in death. She married Stokely McDaries, who preceded her in death. Mrs. McDaries was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Bill McDaries of Lima; a daughter, Lola (Robert Miller) of Lima; two sisters, Willie Keller of Lima and Della Gooden of Ingram, Ky., and 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles McDaries; a brother, Clyde Golden; a sister, Jessie Penland: and a great-grandson, Joseph Plapp. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Siferd Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel. The Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, near Uniopolis. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 today at the funeral home.
