    2. >From the Middlesboro Daily News as poster 24 Jul 2002 MIRACLE - Mary C. Boatright, 84, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Bethesda North Hospital, Montgomery, Ohio. She was born Feb. 10, 1918, in Bell County, a daughter of the late Willie M. Hoskins and Ruth Wilson Hoskins. She was a member of Brownies Creek Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Boatright; two brothers, Wardon and Garfield Hoskins; and two sisters, Mossie Boatright and Nancy Boatright. Survivors include her four children, Wanda Faye Hensley, Mainville, Ohio, Betty Berger, Loveland, Ohio, Jimmy Ray Boatright, Loveland, Ohio, and Willa Jean Stullenberger, Pleasant Plain, Ohio; three sisters, Locie Lee, South Carolina, Amanda Hoskins, Loveland, Ohio, and Sarah Jane Cox, Vine Grove, Ky.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brownies Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder John Robbins presiding. Music will be provided by church singers. Burial will be in Hoskins Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation was from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Creech Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. MIDDLESBORO - Gladys Moody, 76, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Claiborne County Hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Lee County, Va., a daughter of the late Clay and Lucy Mink Fletcher. She was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Tom and wife, Nancy, Harrogate, Tenn., Steve, Middlesboro; two sisters, Marie Martin, Cincinnati, Ohio, Wanda Welch, Jonesville, Va.; three grandchildren, Adam and Mykel, Knoxville, Tenn., Travis, Nashville, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. William Boyd Bingham presiding. Music will be provided by Jimmy Jackson and Dickie Siler. Burial will be in Shoffner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stanley Alexander, Leroy Brown, Rodney Buckner, Doug Hall, Bill Welch Jr., William Clay Welch. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Louise Combs, 92, passed away Monday, July 22, 2002, at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Lebanon, Ky., on May 8, 1910, a daughter of the late Eddie Lee and Ida Lee Inman Lynch. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville and Barbourville. She had been a Pineville City Clerk, Bell County Court Clerk, and had worked as a cashier at Flo-Co Drugs. She had also been a secretary for Bo Combs' Law office and had been secretary for the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Clinton "Bo" Combs, brothers and sisters, Sebra Irene White, Ruby Estella Geyer, Eddie Lee Lynch Jr., Carroll Clifford Lynch and Curtis Raymond Lynch. Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Revs. Charles F. Jones and Jerome Stern officiating. Music will be by Annette Walden. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Donations are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Pineville.
