The Pineville Sun. Dated April 15, 1976 Mr. Rufus Howard, 64, of Pathfork, passed away Sunday, April 10, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born June 10, 1911 in Harlan Co., KY, and was the son of the late Jim and Katie Howard. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Floe Howard of Pathfork;one daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Hensley of Dearborn, OH; three sisters, Julia Spade of Middlesboro, America Helton of Pathfork, and Mrs. Marty Smith of Belaire, MI; three brothers, Arthur Howard of Salem, IN., Walter Howard of Pathfork, and Britt Howard of Goshen OH; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were at the Pathfork Holiness Church on Monday, April 12, at 1 p.m.with the Rev. Thea O. Carter and the Rev. Everett Eads officiating. Burial was in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork, KY. Durham Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Submitted by Mary Eldridge-Harris
