Obit from The Pineville Sun,. Dated Aug. 18, 1977: Mr. Roy Miracle, a life long Bell County resident, passed away at the Middlesboro Community Hospital, July 26, 1977, after a long illness. Mr. Miracle was born May 6, 1918, son of the late Andy Hamp and Sarah Bell Miracle. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opha Mae Smith Miracle of Calvin, KY; three daughters, Elaine Sussan Hoskins of Farmington, MI., Vickie Lynn Baker of Detroit, MI, and Debbie Kay Smith Miracle of Calvin, KY; two sons, Trey Wayne of Farmington, MI, and Charles Edward of Farmington, MI; three sisters, Nellie Reynolds and Edna Miracle both of Pineville, Rt. 1, KY., and Alice Garrett of Tinsley, KY; two brothers, Clifford Miracle of Pineville, Rt. 1 and Cleston Miracle of Redford Town Ship, MI; six grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were Friday, July 29, 1977, at the Church of the True Believers at Calvin, KY., with the Rev. Alva Miracle and Elder Kenneth Robbins officiating. Burial was in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens at Middlesboro, KY., with the family friends as pallbearers. Arnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
