Need help finding the family of William C Bowling. This is what I know. William married a Laura Elizabeth Taylor born May 28 1907 in VA. Daughter of Berry and Nancy ?? Taylor. Her mother Nancy Taylor married again to a ?? Barker Laura Elizabeth Taylor first married a James Matt Hoskins from Pineville Bell Co KY. They had 7 children. After James died Laura married William Bowling they had a daughter Sheila Gail Bowling May 2 1950 in Tetterville a small town in Harlan Co Kentucky. Laura was older than William and I don't know how much older. William may have had the nickname "Red". They were not married long and divorced when the child was about 8 months old. It is thought that William moved to Baltimore MD after the divorce. William tried to contact the child through the help of a man named John Middleton who had one leg. They called him "Peg Leg."
