The Pineville Sun. Dated Oct 15, 1981: "A life long Tinsley resident, Clarence Trosper, age twenty one, passed away Saturday night at Tinsley as the result of an automobile accident. Mr. Trosper was born August 11, 1950, the son of Oscar and Ollie Jones Trosper. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Ella Trosper, Tinsley, KY; one brother, Mitchell Trosper, Tinsley; three nephews, Steven, Jason, and John Trosper, all of Tinsley; and several cousins and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Greasy Creek Baptist Church (White Church) with the Rev. Lewis Jennings and the Rev. LeRoy Carnes officiating. Burial was in the Tad Goodin Cemetery at Tinsley with Joe Vaughn, Norman Carmack, Don Brooks, Perry Ray Goodin, Keith Reed, David Faulkner and William Faulkner as active pallbearers.
