subscribeI understand there is a Frakes, Ky. in Bell Co. and since I have a very early Frakes line connected to my Engle family I just wondered who the earliest Frakes were thanks for help in the past. Sue Engle
Sue, Frakes, KY is named for the Methodist minister and missionary, Hiram Frakes who came to the area of Linda in the early 1900's in order to spread the word of God and help educate the people of the area. There were never any other Frakes families who lived in this area that was, also, called South America.
