Hello, I got a death certificate for Katie Woolum Smith on Monday, and she died May 6, 1940, in Bell County, Ky. She was married to Millard Smith. She was the daughter of John and Belle Baker Woolum. She was 26 when she died. I am trying to figure out which Millard Smith she was married to and more about her parents. . Here is the tree that I have put together from the death certificate. Descendants of John Woolum 1 John Woolum .. +Belle Baker ......... 2 Katie Woolum 1908 - May 3,1940 ............. +Millard Smith 1914 - Also, on Millard Smith, I have one who was born on Dec. 19, 1913 in Bell County, Ky. and he was the son of Tom and Matilda Jackson Smith, and he married my grandmother, Litha Spurlock, on May 18, 1946. He had been married before according to their marriage certificate. So I am wondering if this is the same Millard Smith who was married to Katie Woolum.
