He was the s/o "a" George MESSER and wife, Cordelia "Cordie" BINGHAM, b. 1 Mar 1867 in Knox Co.; d. 20 Jun 1950 in Knox Co. Her parents were: John Madison "Mattie" BINGHAM and Sarah/Sally MILLS. I also have a marriage for Cordelia BINGHAM to a Robert SMITH but no other info.
