In any case, Bell was not formed iuntil1868 from parts of Knox and Harlan Co. (So people who were in either Harlan or Knox Co. often show up later on in Bell Co.) Harlan Co. was formed in 1819 from part of Knox Co. Knox Co. was formed in abt. 1800 and I forget exactly from which counties. But, this is all the same family. Joyce C.
