RESPONSE: Pat, I am not related to the Charles C. TAYLOR you are citing. I actually did have an Uncle Charles/Charley TAYLOR who was a brother to my Uncle Clyde TAYLOR and my Dad but so far as I know my Uncle Charley was something to do with the Board of Education and the Board of Supervisors office and he worked out of the courthouse at Pineville. Uncle Charley's wife, my Aunt Hazel BAKER TAYLOR was a long-time elementary teacher in the Bell Co. schools but I don't have any knowledge of my Uncle Charley actually teaching.
