Thank you so much Joyce. What is so hard to figure out about them is that in the 1920 census, Joe said that he was born in Alabama. He couldn't make up his mind where he was born. He was my great grandfather. I can trace my great grandmother, Nancy Lane Rice's family back for generations, but his is a big mystery. Charlotte
