Then I checked to see if she had had children by her HENDRICKSON husband and I found none in KY. Then I checked to see if there was a marriage for her in KY up to 1937 and I found none there. Finally I just typed in the couple different last names of just SHACKLEFORD and looked to see which families were in Bell co. as of the 1920 and 1930. Ervin C., 9, son, KY . .Henry, 6, son, Ky . .Louzie M., dau, 3 mo's, KY From the KY Birth Index CD's here is some more specific info on births for Mary C. who was an OWENS. All children seem to have been born in Bell Co.; however, a couple of the births were not registered until long after and there may have been one death of a child. Victory is recorded as: SHOCHELFORD, Lizzie V. b. 4-25-1915 in Bell Co. to Mary OWENS (bet you would never have thought of that spelling for SHACKLEFORD (ha ha) SHACKLEFORD, Elzonia b. 5-7-1934 in Bell Co. to Mary OWENS The one I thought was Ervin C. turns out to be recorded as: SHACKLEFORD, Ewing Clifford b. 12-21-1921 in Bell Co. to Mary K. OWENS; not recorded until 1986. SHACKLEFORD, Henry, b. 8-7-1924 in Bell Co. to Mary OWENS; registered in 1983 The one I don't see on the 1930 who may have died is: SHACKLEFORD, Sarah A. b. 9-10-1913 in Bell Co. to Mary OWINS; however, please NOTE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN 17 YEARS OLD AND MAY WELL HAVE MARRIED BY THE TIME OF THE 1930 FED. CENSUS. Could not locate them on the 1920.
