    3. hi carol how ya been? when i first read this, i thought u were going to say, "they think genealogy is a secret service" .. been watching to many movies lately LOL but it does seem like its becoming a secret service issue with all this stealing personal indentities.. i can see not giving out any information on a person who is still living.. but dont see the harm it would do, if they gave out information on the dead. after all , they are "dead"... as far as Paulding county goes.. they claim they wont let any one look at their records, cause people who have been in the court house records dept to look have stoled books and tore pages out of them... im still trying to figure this out. most the books iv seen are HUGE, like how on earth could someone walk out with one of them??? its beyond me.. and wouldnt they hear the paper tearing out of one of those HUGE books? where the books are is a small room, and their desk are right out side the door.. although i do have to say, that even after i was told this. well, out of curiousity i went there and asked , if i could look. of course they said, no! but one of the ladies looked up a few names for me. then went on her way, in other words, she was done looking for me. in Ft Wayne IN at the health dept., they will not let u look through the death records. you have to fill out a form as to who your looking for, then pay them $8.50 for the death record.. i about gasped!! like what if its not the right person? i dont know if its the right person? and the lady said, nothing!! like she could have said, well fill out the form and i'll look, and if its the right person i'll let u know.. but she said, nothing.. so i left! i wasnt about to pay her $8.50 for a death cert for the wrong person. carol hall, its funny u emailed me.. LOL iv been thinking about a don hall and his wife, who used to live around here. was wondering what ever happened to them.. hmm? tomorrow i'll have to ask mom. refresh my memory please. where are u from? jules pss if this send to u more than once, sorry!! every time i click on "send" i get page wont display, so i dont know if this email is sending or not.
