hi list, Note my family lived on the KY side from about 1920 to 1946.. i'm trying to find some researchers that have these names. LOUIS RAMSEY,& a last name of KIMSEY? 1 of these was back in the 1960s delivering newspapers.he & others would pick up the KNOXVILLR Papers at ARTHER WHITAKERs GARAGE in CUMBERLAND GAP..reason i mention this is 1 of these guys & the LOUIS RAMSEY knew my dad.i want to find old photos of him..my dad was GAR MOORE,he and his dad & his siblings lived in the saddle of CUMBERLAND GAP Mountain on 25E...they mined the sand quarry there.his families names are JOHN "DOBB" a nice name,mom SARAH TOWNSLEY MOORE...brothers JIM,CLIFFORD,OLAN,sisters MILDRED,EDITH & VEARL.. GAR married FLORENCE HUNDLEY of TIPRELL. CLIFFORD married LAURA WHITAKER of POWELL River area off 25e as you drop over river hill.near RIVER VIEW CHURCH. EDITH married DIT NORTH of POWELL VALLEY near FLATWOODS.
