Friends may call until 9 tonight and from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cover Funeral Home. He will lie in state from 10 a.m. until services at 11 Friday at Dundee Assembly of God. The Rev; Harold Bilotta, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery; Born Sept. 18, 1921, in Middlesboro, Ky;, she was the daughter of Charley and Callie (Pace) Prater: She married Robert Olen Justice Feb. 27, 1938, in Middlesboro. He died Nov; 8, 1966. She then married Hubert Mobley April 16, 1977, at Dundee Assembly of God. She retired in 1981 from Ypsilanti State Regional Hospital as an occupational therapist. She also worked at the Willow Run Bomber Plant during World War ll, and had worked at Dundee Dairy; She was a member of Dundee Assembly of God. He was born October 18, 1923, in Middlesboro, Ky., the son of Robert B. Johns and Bartie Ellen Marcum Johns. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army. Mr. Johns has been a resident of Oak Ridge since 1943, and was a member of the '43 Club. He is a member of Central Baptist Church, where he was active with the 'Go-Getters' and he was also a member of the Oak Ridge Lions Club. In earlier years, he also served as a Boy Scout leader for many years. He enjoyed photography and painting in oils - particularly landscapes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lillian Lucille Griffith Johns; sons, Gary Edward Johns of Powell, and Dr. Donald R. Johns of Boston, Mass., and granddaughter, Nicole Elise Johns of Boston, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2002, at 8:00 p.m. at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Bob Gray officiating.
