    1. [KYBELL] Henry Jackson obit
    2. Mary Harris
    3. The Pineville Sun. Dated Sept 3, 1970: "Henry Jackson, a U.S. Army Veteran died Friday, August 28, 1970 in the Veteran's Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio due to the injuries sustained while serving in Vietnam, May 18, 1968. A member of a large well-known family of Bell County, he was born February 9, 1942. Survivors include his parents, Andrew and Shirley Simpson Jackson, Route 1, Pineville; his widow, Elizabeth Jackson, Route 1, Pineville; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Tatron, Louisville, Mrs. Ethel Hobbs, Mrs. *Minnie Miracle, Mrs. Delia Boatright, all of Route 1, Pineville; five brothers, Hugh Jackson, Loveland, Ohio, Kenneth, Larkin, Frank and Robert Jackson, all of Route 1, Pineville. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Laurel Hill home of his parents. Elder Kenneth Robbins and Elder Bill Taylor were the officiating ministers. Serving as pallbearers were Gillis Jackson Jr., Arnold Jackson, Otis Brock, Johnny McGeorge, and Willard and Henry Osborne. Burial was in the Jackson Cemetery. Arnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements." *My copy of the obit gets really dark around the names of Henry's sisters. A check, however, of the KY Birth Index, finds a daughter born to Shirley Simpson named Nannie Jackson on Sept 27, 1930 in Bell Co. The name I have typed as Minnie, may actually be Nannie. A further check of the KY Birth Index, finds two additional Jackson males born to a Shirley Simpson. One, Andrew born Feb 6, 1937 in Bell Co. And the other, Leon, born Sept 10, 1944 in Bell Co. I did not find a Robert Jackson born to a Shirley Simpson. So perhaps, Robert was a middle name for Andrew or Leon? Does anyone know the names of the parents of Andrew Jackson and Shirley Simpson?
