Hi, I just found out that John Newman's father was a John Newman Sr who lived in Owingsville, Bath Co., KY. He married ?. He then later went over to Decatur Co., IN and married again to Rebecca Becraft on Apr. 24, 1834. Based on my searchings, it does appear that there were Becraft's also in Bath Co. It could be she was also from the same county? My John Newman Jr. married Gillean Pugh in Decatur Co. She supposedly was also from KY. Was she from Bath Co. also? I was wondering if anybody may know more. Thanks. Ellen Baker
