Looking for any info for this couple: Anderson Chandler, married April 13, 1849, Bath Co., Ky Amanda Adams. Amanda was b, Oct. 9, 1829/1830, Bath Co., Ky. Amanda's parents were Wm. Adams, b 1791 Penn, married, Nov. 25, 1828 ,Lucy Bailey, b March 16, 1805(8). Both are buried Tranquility Cemetery, Adams Co., Ohio. Anderson was listed as a farmer in the 1860 Bath Co., census. Also found on the 1840 , 1850, 1860, 1870 & 1880 census. They were in Claysville, Harrison Co., in the 1880 census. Also found in the 1880 Harrison Co., census was Amanda's brother John Adams & wife Elizabeth, & sister Eliza Adams & her husband Samuel McCann. Children of Anderson & Amanda: 1. Josephine, b 1853 2.Millard (might be Willard), b 1857 3.Marion, b 1860 4.James, b 1865 5.John, b 1850/51 6. Benjamin~~~~~~~~~maybe a son by this name, b 1860 John Chandler is found in the 1880 Harrison CO., Ky census: John Chandler, 29, shoemaker Mary, 27 Hallie, 5 Sarah, 8 I have copies of letters verifying the family of John Chandler , wife Mary & children and letters from Amanda to her mother Lucy Bailey in Adams Co., Ohio. Does any know who Anderson's parents were ?? I believe he was born abt 1820/1825.
