    3. Hi Rebecca, I noticed that you were doing the POWERS line... do you happen to know why the POWERS CEMETERY on Stepstone Road was named POWERS CEMETERY when it is almost exclusively filled with CASSITYs ? ? I have several direct ancestors buried there including my great Grandmother Martha Cassity Bailey. She is said to be buried next to her parents? John Souder ----- Original Message ----- From: "R.A. 3. Hi all-- Happy 2002! I've never heard of this cemetery before. It wasn't one detailed on the Bath Co. GenWeb Page. I'll be visiting KY this coming August and Cassity is one of my surnames so I'd like to determine some of the Cassity's who are buried there. Anybody know more about this? 1. [KYBATH] Stepstone Cemetery Question
    2. R.A. Powers
    3. Hello again, This cemetery may be referred to as the Power or Powers cemetery because John T. Power, a Great Great Granduncle of mine, is buried there, along with his wife Dulcina and his children Joseph Morrison and Jennie Power Carpenter. We suspect that the land at one time belonged to John T. but don't really know at this time. What tickles me is my Dad's information refers to the same cemetery as the Cassity cemetery. :-) Hope this helps! Rebecca P.
