OH Newspaper dated January 8, 1912 JOHN MCCLAIN, an old man was found frozen to death inone room of his cottage in CLOVERDALE Saturday afternoon. He was found by some of the colored neighbors who went to inquire about the old mans health. MCCLAIN, is a white man, but was married to a colored woman who left the home some time ago. Coroner Burnett was called to fiew the remains. It was determined he froze to death. Services was this PM at 2:00 at the AME Church 1st. Street. Rev. Maxwell conducted the services. Interrment in the Middletown Cemetery. January 8, 1912
