This has been our family's brick wall for over 15 years! Leah may have been the daughter of an Elizabeth McCarty who married William Costigan in Bath Co. , 1811, since Leah's last name is listed as "McCarty" written above a crossed out "Costigan". Other Bath Co. surnames are Bashaw, Carter, Conner (family of Harrison Conner), Crouch, Myers, Maupin, Pergrem, Griffith, Sudduth, and Warren. Though I'd love to help everyone with look ups during my visit to Owingsville next weekend, we will only be there for a few hours to visit cemeteries if weather permits, with a possible short side trip to the courthouse and library if they are open so it won't be possible to help everyone (by the way, I already have a couple of look up requests which I'll honor if possible).
