Roxanne >> Roxanne, The census books are transcribed and mistakes are made a lot due to poor handwriting and just plain errors. If you already have people who are looking and especially if one cousin is the Fleming County List owner then they must have seen the 1850 Fleming Co. KY Census. Don't get hung up on dates tho. I have a GGGrandmother whos age is one thing in the census book, one on her death certificate and another on her grave marker. Go figure?
