Where does one get ahold of birth/death certs? Even the newer ones (after 1911) aren't one site at the courthouse. The little lady at the Courthouse said they hadn't kept those papers in years and years. Thought they mailed them somewhere, but didn't know for sure. The suggestion was that I look in the cemetery. Any clues? I'm needing a few from right about 1899 and even though they might not be available, I'd love to check anyway. Thanks Gayle Swoik IL >> Gayle, This is the link for the Death Certificates to be searched and if you find one and do what it says to do and send the money you can order them from here....however, they will only be after 1911 to now. KY DEATH CERTIFICATES I have ordered several from the one lady and it is only 3.00 each and she is fast. They can only be within a certain year tho. Good Luck!
