He was at Ft Pitt with George Rogers Clark in 1775, Washington Co.,Pa 1n 1783 and Bourbon Co., Ky from 1790 to 1830. His children were John 1786, Thomas 1792, Polly Barber Whittington, Betsy Barber Butler, Nancy Barber Marshal, Fanny Barber Parke, and Katie Barber Foley.
