Folks... this is my brickwall.... can you help...!! I am looking for ANY SHIELDS' family in and around the Bath County area. The McKinneys' lived in the Clay Lick, Licking Union area on the Licking River of Bath county. Joseph or Archie, as he was called married FIRST, Lillian Elizabeth Shields. They later moved to Hill County, Texas. Where was Lillian from... Bath, Rowan, Morgan, Menifee... I have no idea. Previous queries by me have been to no avail. It would seem that Archie would have married in the local area... but I can find no ties to Lillian's family. They were married 9 Dec 1875 when she was 16 years old.
