Hi, I am searching for a Joseph Archibald Purdue or an Archibald B. Purdue. He was born in Fairfax County, Virginia in 1820. I am searching for his parents and siblings. Four sources has him b. Joseph Archibald Purdue and my brother has him born Archibald B. Purdue. He eventually moved to Bath County, Kentucky where he m. Sarah Elizabeth Ocherman and had my GGrandfather John Daniel Purdue. They had all other children in Nicholas County, Kentucky, He died in Kentucky and GGGrandma Sarah moved to Boone County, Indiana with their children. She and some of her children and grandchildren ar eburried in Pleasant View Cemetery in Dover, Boone county, Indiana. I am searching the Fairfax, and Fairfax County, Virginia list in hopes of finding his parents and siblings. Would like to know if Archibald B. was in fact his father and not him.
