I am trying to find the relationship (if any) between the DeBoard (Debord) family and the Andrew Jackson Suttle family. Andrew Jackson Suttle (b. ca. 1823) married Nancy Caroline Carpenter on 28 Nov 1849. He had a twin sister named Judy who married Shelby Carpenter (brother to Nancy). Family lore indicates that possibly the mother of A. J. & Judy Suttle may have been a DeBoard. But other than some graves in the DeBoard Cemetery (in which A. J. Suttle, his wife and two daughters are buried), the only DeBoard information I can find is in the 1840, 1850 and 1860 Bath Co Census (1870 & 1880 Census not yet researched). The KY Hist. Society Cemetery database found at <http://catalog.kyhistory.org/help/Cem_Database_Intro.htm> shows the known graves of the DeBoard Cemetery. It has one know error - a "G. W. DeBoard" is shown as "C. W. DeBoard". Two of the graves in the DeBoard Cemetery are for persons shown in the census -- Franklin DeBoard and Rhoda Howard. Another, G. W. DeBoard seems to be a brother or cousin of Franklin. A fourth grave (Mary A. Kountz) appears to be a probable sister of Franklin and/or G. W. The remaining graves are for A.J. Suttle and his wife, Nancy and their daughters: Elizabeth (and her husband Charle Conley) and Amanda C. Thanks.
