I have traced as far as my 2G-Grandfather, Sylvester. He was b. ca 1820, m. in Bath Co, 19 Dec 1847to Mary Lynn TOMLINSON. They returbed to Jefferson Co, OH by the 1850 census. By the 1860 census the family was seperated as Mary was still in OH with her sister. According to the Adutant General's Report of the State of KY, assembled by the KY Confederate Volunteers he died in combat, 3 Jun 1863 at Murfreesboro TN. Since he returned to KY, could it have been to Bath Co. with some relative or inlaw. I haven't yet found him in any muster records. Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially with parentage. Thanks, Bob
