Hello, We are new to the list and are trying to research our WEAVERS. We have a greatgrandfather, PETER W. WEAVER, raising his family in Bracken Co. Ky. His papers say he was born in Nicholas Co. Ky. in 1830. A NANCY (Weaver) CANADY HARVEY said she was the daughter of Cornelius & Elizabeth Weaver and was born in BATH Co. Ky. in 1812? We have several reasons to believe Nancy Weaver is the sister to our greatgrandfather, Peter W. Weaver. Cornelius (67 yrs. old) & Elizabeth(60 yrs. old) Weaver, with a 16 year old daughter, (Margaret) are in the BATH Co. Ky. 1850 Census. Gone in the 1860 census. I do not know what kind of resources are available in Bath Co. Did Cornelius & Elizabeth Weaver die in Bath Co. before 1860? Did Margaret marry someone from Bath Co. between 1850 and 1860?
