Is anyone on this list researching the Freeman family from Virginia/Kentucky? I am trying to find early information on 4 brothers, William L., abt 1811, John S., abt 1815, Edward S., abt 1818, and James M. Freeman abt 1822. The last 3 if not all were born in Kentucky, but their parents, (names unknown) originally came from Virginia. Edward S. is my gr-gr-grandfather. Family lore has it he was sort of a nasty fella! I do understand he was a slave-lord and not a nice one at that. If anyone has any info on this family, I sure would love to hear from you. After 1850 I have the family tree but before 1850 there is a big blank. Thanks for taking a look!!
