    1. [KYBATH] Boyd/Hendrix help needed
    2. Donna & Bob
    3. Hello Gang, I am trying to find out more about the family of John Boyd who married Polly Hendrix. They were married August 01, 1825 in Bath Co. Polly is the daughter of Moses M. Hendrix and Frances Honey. I had a child listed for them as James M. born about 1826 in KY. Is this the same John and Polly Boyd I found in the 1850 Putname co IN census listed with a James M. all born in KY until you hit Jared who in 1850 was 18 and he was the first child born in IN listed. Does anyone know of this family??? Here's keeping my fingers crossed. Thank, Donna

    1. [KYBATH] Slaves of Jacob Warner
    2. Darrell Warner
    3. I am looking for descendants of the following THE SLAVES OF JACOB WARNER THIS IS ALL I KNOW ABOUT THE SLAVES THAT JACOB WARNER OWNED. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WAS TAKEN FROM THE APPRAISAL OF JACOB WARNER'S ESTATE AND FROM HIS SLAVE AND LAND DIVISION DATED AUGUST OF 1860. BOTH DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE AT THE BATH COUNTY, KENTUCKY COURTHOUSE. THE FOLLOWING NAMES ARE LISTED. JACK AGE 20 Jack took the Warner name and raised a family in Bath County. If the will was correct his birth year would have been around 1840. His wife was Evaline Ewing and according to her Bath County, Kentucky death certificate she was buried in Warner Graveyard which makes me assume that Jack is buried there also but as of now I have no proof. They had a son William (Brady) Warner who married Tansy Alexander. According to William Brady's obituary in the Bath County News-Outlook dated Thursday, July 15, 1937, he is also buried in Warner Graveyard. STEPP AGE 17 AGGIE AGE 37 AND 3 WEEK OLD CHILD NAMED DICK MALINDA AGE 14 AND 1 YEAR OLD CHILD NAMED JOHN MARY AGE 12 BETTY AGE 6 FIELDING AGE 4 ISSAC AGE 8 FRANKIE AGE 40 OR 50 ANNIE SHE DOES NOT SHOW UP IN THE PAPERS BUT AN OLD OBITUARY SAYS SHE DIED ON JULY 9, 1909 AT AGE 101. THIS IS THE OBITUARY WARNER, Annie died 7-9-1909 age 101 also known as Aunt Ann Obituary of slave owned by Jacob Warner Sr. July 9, 1909 Aunt Ann Warner, of color, died at the home of Dudley Warner Friday and was buried in the family graveyard (Warner Graveyard). She was bought by the Elder Jacob Warner at Georgetown when she was 18 years old and had been in the Warner family for eighty years, doing the work until two months ago.

    1. [KYBATH] Slate Creek
    2. Jim Sorrell
    3. Johnny Souder, it looks like Slate Creek is one of the biggest in Bath County. Perhaps all the population of Bath County, including all the live stock plus ten groundhogs, could take a bath in the creek during the spring floods with room to spare. Slate Creek appears as a small creek in Montgomery County and meanders from southwest to the northeast of Bath County, flowing under I64 three times, before finally entering the Licking River at Wyoming. Route 111 parallels, sort of, Slate Creek from the northeast of Owingsville to Wyoming. Hope this helps. Jim

    3. Joanne, "EFF" is probably East Fork Flat Creek. Take Route 36 northwest from Owingsville to Reynoldsville. Then take Route 1325 towards Flemingsburg. Route 1325 traces EFFC from Reynoldsville due north to the Licking River. Jim

    1. [KYBATH] ADDING TO THE FAMILY TREE IN A BIG WAY
    2. Kathy South
    3. Hi Everyone, This isnt the normal addition to the family tree, but we are expecting an addition to our family lines and I wanted to share this with all of you. In the past I have come to this group for support and consider You an Awsome Group of Friends who have held my Family in Prayer when in need, and believe me, this is a Huge Need! My Daughter Is expecting again, this time however, she is expecting Triplets!! Talk abt adding to the Family tree. She is due in March but we were told to be prepared for early babies, but for everyday the babies are early, holds horriblly high chances for medical problems, some that last a life time. Would you Please keep her, and these precious new lives in your prayers? With alot of bedrest and as stress free as possible live, she was able to carry her twins to term. Being a Mommie of 4 already, bedrest wont be as easy for her now, But I know with Your Prayers and Gods Hands around them, they will be fine. Thanks, Kathy _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
