Is anyone on this list researching the Freeman family from Virginia/Kentucky? I am trying to find early information on 4 brothers, William L., abt 1811, John S., abt 1815, Edward S., abt 1818, and James M. Freeman abt 1822. The last 3 if not all were born in Kentucky, but their parents, (names unknown) originally came from Virginia. Edward S. is my gr-gr-grandfather. Family lore has it he was sort of a nasty fella! I do understand he was a slave-lord and not a nice one at that. If anyone has any info on this family, I sure would love to hear from you. After 1850 I have the family tree but before 1850 there is a big blank. Thanks for taking a look!! I have since found out that that is in Franklin County. I have only seen the Bath County, sign a couple of times. Maybe I was on a different road then and thought I was on 150. I have heard that GGGrandpa Archie died in Bath county, and then his wife Sarah Elizabeth Ocherman moved their children to Boone county, Indiana. I am trying to find out where GGGrandpa Archie is burried. His wife, my GGGrandmother in burried in Dover, Boone County, Indiana at Pleasant View Cemetery. Hello, If anyone has access to the 1900 Bath Co Census, could you do a lookup for me?? Clarence M. Gardner, son, of ??? born approx 1878 , would be abt.12 yrs old in the 1900 census. He is listed in the Fleming Census for 1920 and 1910 with wife and children but nowhere in 1900. Maybe parents from Bath??? I drove to Fleming Co today and searched the 1900 census and nothing. I also searched 1878 birth records and nothing. Started searching the marriages but I had to leave. Thank you in advance! I really appreciate it! Peggy Gardner Sturdivant
Hi, I was wondering if someone has a copy of " A Historical Sketch of Springfield Presbyterian Church of Bath County". I am interested in any information in the book about John and Patrick McCollum, who are listed as being mentioned in this book. Also, I would be interested in corresponding with anyone researching these guys. The McCollums were in Clark/Montgomery/Bath Counties ca 1790 to 1810, coming from Augusta/Bath County, VA. Thanks, Mary Caudle

To all on the list, I accidentally sent a file to the KY Bath website and didn't realize it until I hit the send button. It had nothing to do with genealogy, hence, the gibberish, but it was too late. I sent an apology immediately, but apparently, that didn't get through. Ruby

I just sent out an e-mail with attachments, and I accidentally sent it to the list. Has nothing to do with genealogy, just an error on my part. Ruby
