Can anyone help me in finding information on Archibald B. SIX, wife Elizabeth (Crain?). I have found the family in the 1860 Franklin Co and 1870 Bath Co Census. Before/after, I have no information, but children seemed to settle in Bath Co. Children: Sarilda (m. James Gregory), George T. (m. Ann Dawson), Sarah J., Mary A., and Maggie (m. James T. Nat Archives - Lloyd McDaniel I just attended a class yesterday at the Nat Archives, Laguna Niguel, CA. where we were prepped for the 1930 census to be released in 2002. All information herein is preliminary and subject to modification at any time. 1) There are only 9 states with soundex films (abt 1000 reels), all southern. 2) City Directories 1920-1930+ sent to the Lib of Congress are reproduced on microfilm and are being shipped NOW to all Regional Nat Archives. Many cities did NOT submit their directories to the Lib of Congress. There is NO Directories Index at this time. (abt ~1000 reels) 3) There are 30 reels of reverse Enumeration District definitions for the 1930 census also provided. These reverse Definitions define the 1930 ED and cross reference the equivalent 1920 ED. This is an opportunity for someone to produce a 1920 ED def. to 1930 equivalent WEB file. 4) There are about 2000 1930 census microfilms that will be commercially reproduced in digital form for purchase but this project will NOT begin until 2002 due to privacy restrictions. Stay tuned for later info as they fill us in. LLoyd McDaniel
